"Going back home to celebrate the new year" is the heartfelt hope for all Chinese people over the world. The Spring Festival travel rush has long swept the entire land of China. This year, the Spring Festival is expected to see over 3 billion travel journeys. This is almost half of the world's population.

As for myself, a Chinese, I am also one of the hundreds of millions of travelers. For foreign friends who want to understand Chinese culture, I would like to say that to get to know China, it is not necessary to visit popular attractions and see famous Chinese celebrities. Join me in the Spring Festival travel rush army and come to China's cities or rural areas to celebrate the Spring Festival, and I think you will be able to understand the concept of "country" and "home" in Chinese culture. You will be able to witness how vast the land of China is, and realize how mobile Internet is transforming the country.

You see a middle-aged man who has been away from home for a year working in Shanghai to support his family, traveling from Shanghai to the countryside in Sichuan (That’s roughly the distance from Philadelphia to Los Angeles). When he finally sees his ageing parents, his wife and his son, his eyes are moistened with tears. He looks closer, and sees that his father's hair has grown more white, his mother's face is covered with more wrinkles, his wife is still wearing an old down jacket from 2 years ago, and his son looks taller than before. He could not help but break down into tears...

When Chinese people return home, it's not just their physical selves that are home, but also their souls. They found a destination for their souls which do not belong anywhere else.

Fortunately, in recent years, China's transportation technology and mobile internet progressed rapidly. Most Chinese and foreigners living in China are able to buy tickets online to go home for the Spring Festival, and travel from the south to the north of China across a distance of 4439 kilometers to reunite with their families.

So, at the end of this week, our friends at 86insights will also embark on their journey home for the lunar new year. As the Spring Festival is approaching, please allow me to speak to you on behalf of all team members in the 86insights team:

 大家好~再过5天就过年了。你是否已订好回家的车票，计划好春节的聚会安排？

“回家过年。”是全世界华人当下的心声。整个中国大地早已掀起了春运潮。今年春运旅客预计突破30亿人次。这几乎是半个地球的人出行一次。

而我自己，作为一个中国人，也是这数亿旅客中的一员。对于想了解中国文化的外国朋友，我想说：认识中国，不一定要去热门景点、拜访中国名人。和我一样成为春运大军中的一员，来中国的城市、乡村过一次春节，我想你就能理解中国文化中“国”、“家”的概念；感受到中国地域的极度辽阔；认识到移动互联网正在改变着这个国家。

当你看到：一年未回家的中年男人，在上海打工挣钱养家。他从上海都市到四川农村，走了大半个中国，终于见到年迈父母妻儿时，他的眼眶湿润了。仔细看着爸爸头上的白发更白，母亲的皱纹更多，妻子还穿着2年前的旧羽绒服，儿子长得更高些，他忍不住地流泪了...

中国人回家，回去的不仅是身体，更是心灵；是为那颗无处安放的心灵，找到归宿。

值得高兴的是，这几年来，中国交通科技、移动互联网技术得到了快速发展，大部分中国人、旅居中国的外国人都能买到春节回家的票，从中国的最南边走到最北边，越过4439千米的距离，与亲人团聚。
